Organist and Music Director
David Boeckh is an organ performance major at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music studying with James David Christie. Originally from Seattle, he began playing the organ while his family was on sabbatical in Berlin, Germany. Upon returning to Seattle he took lessons with Mel Butler at Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral. In 2013 he was accepted into the UW Academy, an early entrance program at the University of Washington where he studied with Carole Terry. David has participated in various summer organ academies and competitions including the North German Organ Academy in Bremen, Germany and is the winner of the 2015 West Chester Organ Competition. From 2014-2015 David was the organ scholar at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, Washington. He's excited to be on the staff of the Church of the Redeemer.
